The hybrid disposable vape pen gives a perfect balance of energy and relaxation, giving you a happy, enlightening feeling, while also mellowing you out. It will help crush your stress under the weight of its heavy–but not overwhelming–long-lived euphoria. Looking to go for a long trail run or hike? Hybrids are good for that. Maybe you’re not looking to do anything but chill on a boat or maybe just play Xbox One (or PS4, whatever). Yep, this vape pen is good for those sorts of things, too.

Looking to maintain that “Cloud Nine” feeling you have going on? We thought so, which is why we think the hybrid-blend vape pen is the best option for you.

Terpenes – OG Kush strain

We’re willing to guess that the reason you love certain strains–whether it be Chemdawg, Sour Diesel, OG Kush, or Girl Scout Cookies–is because you love the scents and flavors. Yes, the THC helps too, but you’ll find that in any strain and it doesn’t vary as much. What make the cannabis strains so unique are the terpenes. Terpenes give each strain its unique smell and taste. For example, maple syrup has around 300 different terpenes, which is why it smells and tastes so amazing. Terpenes also help enhance the health effects of cannabis by influencing how our bodies process cannabinoids.

When we were deciding which flavors and smells we liked most, we tried a few different (hybrid) strains to see which strain terpenes we’d feature in our hybrid disposable vape pen. We concluded that the strain we liked the best with the most distinct smell and taste was the OG Kush. The flavors in the hybrid pen are extracted terpenes from the famous OG Kush strain, as it definitely has a distinct smell and taste to it. Go ahead and smell the hybrid vape pen (no one will think you’re weird) – you’ll pick up scents of pine, wood, and maybe of a lemon that’s been buried in a forest (you smell it now, don’t you?).

Extracting Terpenes

We thought you’d ask. Extracting terpenes is definitely a science, not an art. Think of extracting these flavors and aromas from a weed “nug” the same way you’d get flavors, aromas, and oils from a eucalyptus leaf or a lemon. Think about that maple syrup we mentioned earlier – those terpenes can be extracted and used in other maple-flavored things, like bacon or donuts. The same terpenes that are found in our favorite weed strains are also found in other common plants and foods, which are extracted and added to our oils.

What Terpenes Are Found In OG Kush?

There are quite a few terpenes that are found in the OG Kush cannabis plant, but there are dominant ones in this strain that make it so unique. The limonene terpene is responsible for the earthy lemon flavor, and makes up around 28% of the plant’s flavors, while the other dominant terpenes are:

  • Myrcene (woodsy, 23%)
  • [Beta] caryophyllene (15%)
  • Linalool and pinene (responsible for the piney aromas, of course)

There are a few other terpenes present in the OG Kush terpene extract, like humulene which is a terpene also found in hops, cloves, and basil. And fenchol, which is found in lemon oil, emits a dry, woodsy aroma.

When OG Kush is being vaped or smoked, the aroma is almost like if you poked a lemon with a bunch of pine needles, let it absorb the piney flavor, and then placed the Hellraiser-looking lemon onto a grill – that’s to say it doesn’t have too much of a “weedy” smell to it. On the other hand, it does have a super skunky smell while growing it.

If you’re in a mood to go out and conquer the world, or at least a mountain, the hybrid disposable vape pen and its OG Kush terpenes is going to keep you in that mood for quite a while. If you’re simply feeling a lazy day in the hammock, the hybrid vape pen is going to make sure you stay off the ground.

So next time you’re at the nearest dispensary and want to keep your vibes buzzing for quite some time, our hybrid disposable vape pen with OG Kush terpenes will keep you coasting.
